thanks all .
yes bought ref bal phono 2 years ago , (when i had money ,not now .) . Cables ( nordost ) tucked away and under carpet . no need for radiator with Krell amps . It took me a long time to build system and develop sound. Last item added B&W 8032 . very happy now , no more changes ( cant afford) .
RE rack . This was built by cabinet maker locally who finished off racks very well . Materials good quality but good craftsmanship required for longterm enjoyment . legs can be emoved and replaced with different height as required .

Fantastic really nice job. It is a copy of the podium racks as you stated which is exactly what I want to try and do. I am trying to do it at a reasonable price but if you used junckers worktop I wonder has the cost come in similar to the hifiracks kit?
Well I have the worktop just not enough (ikea oak worktop). In a rush of enthusiasm I got a batch of large double ended screws(sorry I didnt take the time and just get a threaded bar + nuts) This is to connect the legs to the tops.
Have sourced the leg material from a timber merchants.Typical Ireland. €45 for a plank that I will need to cut/plane/thickness to leg size. Similar length on a UK site (10ftx2inches) £22.50.
With regard to the spikes/shoes from hifiracks I checked the size and I dont see an option on purchasing them. Did you just ring them? I know there are a few options available on ebay but if the hifiracks are reasonable they seem nicely finished.
Just have to find the time to do all this. If it looks ok when done maybe I will post a photo. If it looks bad then Patricks pictures will have to do.

Thanks Patrick. Found it but bloody hell the prices. I think I will be using the nordost pulsar points I sourced recently they will do fine .They were dear enough but lars advised they are incredible.
