Nice stockings on those Quad speakers; bright and therefore much higher WAF than the chocolate brown version!

Hope you are a pensioner with free electricity allowance. Your usage probably pays the CEO's bonus.

Our electricity bill has noticeably increased since their purchase, no doubt about it.
Those photos were a lot less massive on my screen at home. WTF?
ETA: Okay, I've reduced the size a bit. Hope that's better.

Actually photobucket (where I've saved them) allows resize on the fly but I thought these would be ok. Is 1024x768 still too big for your screen, Ivor? You need something bigger!!
(I'll make them a bit smaller again so.)

On holliers, finally got to hear a DA50. Very very nice.I got the shop to use a large pair of B&W's dont ask what maybe 803's as I havent a clue, they were priced at €9k.
Had some discussions with them in very bad french and english.Last day of sale.By law they cannot negotiate the sale price! Wow what a country I thought we were bad.
came away empty handed as I had intended. Getting good at walking away. Enough heat from the jadis to give one sunburn. I reckon you could turn off the rad in any room running this amp. Heard a lovely oscar petersen track. Have to dig up the cd when I get home. sessions I think was in the title.Think I am hooked on this route. Jadis drove the B&W's with ease. They should be able for most speakers. Few more irons in the fire but enjoying the hunt.

Sounds good, Tony. Walking away is essential too, at least until you're sure what you want.
