Ha Ha. Dont worry Ivor one blast with the cyrus amp will blow them up. Thanks Richard, I did actually play the b-52's a lot but maybe the memory is getting foggy. You know I think it was such a hassle to play records compared to just lashing in CD's thats probably why most of my stuff has survived reasonably intact. Glad somebody is getting to play them. I thought Mesopatomia was the best thing they did that and planet claire.

Hi Richard They are put aside for you. In relation to the ones already picked. Some are due to go this weekend. I have asked if guys have changed their minds etc and will leave it until after the weekend. If nothing is sorted by then I will put them aside for you. Cheers Tony

I am going into freebird today as they want to take some of my stuff. I was checking them before heading in. Most of these lps are virtually brand new hardly ever played. I deliberately under sold them but a lot of them are really excellent. I was in tallaght last weekend and there is a liquidator around the corner from DID selling LP'S in case people are interested in checking it out.Was a bit shocked at the prices so be warned.

Thanks Tony - let me know when suits next week and I'll drop by. Agreed - the ones I got from you are in great condition. Second hand vinyl shops in Dublin are a bit of a rip off in my opinion - Blackrock market is the best I have been to, although their prices are high, they will haggle happily if you buy 5-10. Variable quality though (and obviously!).

Thanks Richard, I just remembered how I used to bring back lps because they had crackles and pops. probably drove the record shop mad. Sure the replacement would be exactly the same. I was fairly careful with the few lp's I had because of the cost. I will let you know next week what the story is but i might drop them down to you but it would be the following week due to work hours. I wanted to check out the esl's.

No worries Tony, and you're more than welcome - we should probably arrange for a weekend then; I have a 4 month old in the house, so do not get a huge amount of listening time currently :)

Hey Tony.
Thanks for the LP's.
Sat here now thoroughly enjoying Grace Jones.
Coincidently I picked up a pristine 1978 direct drive Luxman TT at the weekend too.
A terrific find it is too. Put an Ortofon 2M blue MM into it - beautifully musical combo with terrific detail and staging.
I believe that this is the most instantly engaging and musical hi fi setup that I have had to date.
Can't wait to upgrade the signal wiring.
Cheers again Tony.
