Beethoven – Missa Solmenis....
This is an impressive performance all around, both from the instrumentalists and the vocalists.

Mahler – Symphony No. 6 [Bernstein]....
I think that this was undoubtedly the best performance so far of the cycle; it was wonderful!

I really like the sound of von Stade’s voice in this version as well as the very good orchestral arrangement.

lovely lush sound from this LP. Sounds quite a bit different than the CD version.
