Containing terrific songs like Pagan Baby, Who'll Stop The Rain, Molina, It's Just A Thought, Hey Tonight etc etc

6 albums between '68 and '70 - nobody does it quite like Creedence. Good call Dermot!

Swamp Rock Rules Ok ;-)) 6 albums in two years! Amazingly prolific was our John! Of course, Fogerty's revenge was just around the corner (pun intended!); namely Mardy Gras released in '72, which is generally regarded as the worst album by a major group....ever! The other two members (brother Tom had wisely left at this stage) wanted some of the limelight and John cruelly let them have it :-)))))

As debuts go, this is simply sensational! Chips did a terrific Reelin' In The Years back then....
Anybody remember Charles Atlas and his chest expander?

I love that album!! I'll be putting that on tonight!!

BTW, the live set with the "notes" album is very good - so if they make the album available in both versions be sure to get it.

Ah sorry....

the "notes from san francisco" album is available on CD in 2 forms. You can buy the basic CD. Also there is a deluxe version, that comes attractively packaged in a book format with liner notes, etc etc etc, the "notes" album, and a second CD with a live performance from a show in SF (i.e. 2 CDs)

If you have that choice when the vinyl version comes out, make sure to get the one with the live set. Its good!!

BTW, the deluxe version was only about a fiver dearer than the basic one.
