I actually did own the second one but during a house move earlier in the year I smashed it by accident. Looking forward to having it again as it truely is a great piece of work.

I used to wish that sort of thing would happen to my (ex) wife's Elton John albums, but sadly it never did...

That Symphony is really beautiful, although it may take a while to give up its charms. I started learning it a couple of years ago and was meant to perform it in recital but I got lazy and never finished it. Ben van Oosten is brilliant as always, but if you like the music, you should definitely get Daniel Roth's recording on Motette if you don't already have it. It's coupled with Symphony 5, which I believe you're familiar with... ;)

Cheers Simon. As for Widor's 5th, its one I tend to avoid these days as the repetive nature of the last movement tends to get a bit boring after a few listens. I do quite like the Allegro from the 6th though.
