actually, going back to c3... guitar was already a bit hard, only very little.
c7 guitar got more hard.
c12 is better not hard!
the old cltx c2 is even better.
now the latest 2.99.5 256 c2 almost same as cltx c2

how do you think, my win8 also need remove package? now 143,000 files in C:\ , and many dirty no needed things in registry.

remove package doesn't make tense. it makes ease here...
not sure i lost details or lost noise... need more testing
for example, cannot delete termservice coz windows won't activate or something

in my case v2.99.5 256 c4 is best, good air, mellow, detailed. will more test...
seems it's better than v2.99.4 256 c7

(ok. did something wrong something cannot be deleted... back to norm...)
2.99.5 c4 most things > 2.99.4 c7
cleaner, morer refiner, bigger stage, more weight, more quantity
c4 bass feels like 2.99 or 2.90.7 or 2.90x has energy
prefer c7 bass has emotion and calmness and feeling of evironment

hard to beat v2.99.4 c7, will optimized its code later.
tried with raw sound method, more simple code, maybe good for metal.

try my best to test hehe... (seems fat sound after deleted .net2 or .net3 or something... )
first impression 2.99.6x is easily > 2.99.5
2.99.6 piano > 2.99.5x
love 2.99.6x drum weight. 100% and no earache.
prefer hpraw > nocnt. more ease
2.99.6x bass is calm/peaceful like c7
c7 has magic of evironment and hypnosisism in death metal
