impossible for win8/win2012 to be "clean"

usually software players that sound "clean", the reverb is much gone.

only my compiling work run as startup, automatically, don't touch any thing. now maybe services and device drivers loading affect result.

as you said some "quantium" can be inserted into .exe file by compiler. what is this?
coz each time compiler makes different result from same code. need learn to disable this metadata.

hehehe am no expert of compiler...
some compiler adds GUID for each new compile. or increment the version number

maybe just the metadata is different?

c7 has good reverb/echo
try some very old recordings, when TV is still black and white....
like Billie Holiday or some jazz music, it feels like i am there at the jazz club.

c11 lost that magic!

figured out a trick to strip windows hehe

in registry, set:
1.Visibility=1
2.DefVis=2
3.delete key "Owners "
now i can delete anything! e.g.
dism /online /remove-package /packagename:Adobe-Flash-For-Windows-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.2.9200.16384

bye bye adobe flash!

took out another >200 things

the sound seems cleaner, has more ease.

delete 50 things -> cleaner, more ease
delete another 50 things -> more ease, seems details is lost, has glitches. actually, details was noise....
delete another 50 things -> sounds is becomes richer, more quality
... seems ok so far

hard to beat code of v2.99.4. many things have optimized, think good code for this method. c7 is really good, its bass vibration have good air.

used new method for v2.99.5, render loop better, more smart operation with memory address. but some statements outside of loop may affect sound. try test c1, c2. if they will work for you then will more optimize code. prefer c2, vibration now better, keep good emotion.

c12 many things better > c7. c12 has good elements from c11.
c12's stage width is wider, but little stretched, so has stage earaches

among 2.99.4x, prefer c7

c2 has some earache in stage, only little bit.
c2 is more refined, more sweet treble tune.
vocal texture... seems "smoothed" in c2? c7 has more vocal micro?

overall, they sound very similar here.

interesting, v2.99.5 code is difference, new method. but sound is similar as v2.99.4, c7.
i think v2.99.5 code better, still not optimized.

touched OS, something better, other thing worse. and now i can not restore back to when c7 compiled. forgot what services running while compiling c7.
its bass depth very nice, and something not understanded. although it have little balance defect but not easy beat it.

c7 maybe little bit weighty. i.e. vocal vibration moment is a bit watery, not very sharp.
i see c11 isn't weighty.

here c7 has just one more issue guitar gives a bit hard earaches.
as a comparison, ctlx1 c2 gives zero earaches.

here my setup c7 is best live sound. note correctness is one of best if not best already. it has hypnosis bass. sound has ease. c7 doesn't sound dirty at all if my pc is good mood. sounds just analog and right.

another ~600 packages to remove! shall see if c7 gets much better

sound definitely has more ease but just interesting that i don't know if i lost details or noise....
