Wanting another piano version of this work after Jared’s thread I opted for James’ recommendation played by Lazar Berman....
I opted for this for two reasons really; firstly I have Liszt’s complete Années de Pelerinage performed by him and secondly there is a Ravel orchestration of the work played by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by von Karajan. I therefore feel that I have to get something out of this one!
