think GiliSoft is the more musical one. most easy.

Primo has earaches on headphones.

think GiliSoft is the winner. use fat(fat16), 192MB. sounds most enjoyable.

So typical:

From either USB stick or RAMdisk.
Any ideas?
uploaded lekt.exe1644 v1.12 read file .try it.

you need change file path in .bat file. for example, if your ramdisk drive is F:\ then need change path to "F:\music\abc.wav" (play wav file from ramdisk drive).
Thanks. 1.12 sounds very good.

Instead of copying album tracks to RamDisk, I now merge them so lekt only has to start the once on a 2Gb file. No more track change hiccups or LektErrors. LOL

Any benefit in having the wav file in contiguous RAM?
How does one see the fragmentation in DataRAM?
Hopefully LektRAM will keep file in contiguous RAM?

thanks JC. will use GiliSoft. but need create some album to ramdisk drive for listening, think 2-3GB may enough for usually listening. with 192MB only for testing?

i don't understand, v1.12 normal works with playlist multi-tracks? has error or not?

"Any benefit in having the wav file in contiguous RAM?"
benefit, of course (i understand "contiguous" is non-fragmented).
but don't need merge files, in this case big RAM capacity will easier fragmented (not enough contiguous space for such big file, maybe).

i use both GiliSoft and dataram. you need test.

yes, 192MB is not enough... may need to write a script. copy one song, play it, delete it, copy another....

I have started merging files where the tracks run through i.e. the track breaks align to LP side capacity rather than the end of the music, else I get annoying clicks on track boundaries, or even worse lekt failing to start again on subsequent tracks.

I use 4Gb RAMdisk, but I think it safe to reduce to 2Gb.

OK, good solution for contigous between tracks (JRiver is good for this task, seem it pre-loads next track while current track is playing near at end, but affect to SQ).
last lekt versions have bug: click/pop on begining track. it will be fixed soon.
tested v1.12 with playlist, no problem, all tracks has normal played. do you still have this problem?

got annoyed making album by myself. here is automatic create an album.

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

download "paste.exe", "Create Album.bat", "LektAlbum.exe". put them in a folder.

1. ctrl+C on music files
2. run "Create Album.bat"
3. "new album.bat" will be created

there is also "Create Album (RAMDISK).bat".
it also create "new album.bat". copy file to ramdisk, play it, delete, copy another file....

to specify the drive of your ramdisk e.g.
LektAlbum param.txt g
g drive is used here

paste.exe is copied from that of MQn.

the "Create Album (RAMDISK).bat" means i only need 192MB for ramdisk, unless the file is bigger than 192MB. because after a file is played, it will be deleted.

upload LektAlbum.exe. fixed all issues you said.

change log:
for using ramdisk, music files will be copied to "ramdrive:\abcde" folder. if file wasn't deleted "when manualy close cmd window", it will be deleted the next time you play another album on a ramdrive. (because can't ensure files deleted using cmd script on event of cmd windows close)
