The re-mastering was always a bit too clinical for me leaving an “in your face” presentation. I also thought that by “cleaning it up” they took away the specific atmosphere of the original album. I also missed both the orchestration and the choir in The Long and Winding Road and the absence of the brass section and the different guitar solo in Let It Be....but then I grew up listening to the original version!

Nicely summed up Fergus! I'll dig mine out tomorrow and maybe call into your local charity shop and clean them out of the rare stuff, especially of the Classical variety! What time do they open at ;-)))))
