uploaded 2 versions of pa.dll and sqlite.exe opt5
Can you let me know which one you like best sp or nsp ?
am trying b 0:200000
ie 200mb buffer
think nsp gets closer to the music
just need to get it running on one core and job done

uploaded opt6 dll & exe, don't think it's my imagination, but it sounds vgood. Making quite small changes, but seems to have an effect.
playing the meet me in london album mentioned a few posts back, sounds excellent.

on win 8.1 I'm getting a bit of a thin sound when mmcss is disabled.
is opt6 better than opt5nsp ? the bass in opt6 seems lacking, but the detail seems good.

don't know, would try to convert 0:1 to a number ?
think opt5nsp sounds most convincing playing from my laptop anyway
shall do the core affinity next and then get everything else working.
what would mqn sound like with pa ks + tweaks ? Only one way to find out.

Gordon,
Thanks for your time & efforts with the LMS Player!!
Question - Do you still have a optimised 32-bit version of squeezelite-win.exe posted or available for download and use?
I'm still using older 32-bit Windows XP Server Computers at home and in my office.
I was able to download the optimised version of squeezelite-win.exe(no extensions) and the portaudio_x86.exe as described on page 175 of this thread to my 32-bit XP Home computer over the weekend and everything worked great, but the current posted squeezelite-win.exe(no extensions) file will not work.
Thanks again for your help - I guess the proper answer to my question would be to purchase a new current spec windows computer and properly test your new revisions.
Steve

will do a 32 bit once the dust settles, but 64 bit gives the best sq, the movsq instruction is only available on 64 bit.

I came late tonight, and I wanted to try at least these new versions, but it could not recognize local player at all. Computer went into stand by mode after I ran it last time.
Anybody experienced something like this? Should I re-install LMS again?
