You didn't catch my post, and Gordon explained it.
I can't run Qobuz or any of 320kbps stations, except Radio Paradise. Gordon promised they will be back, the focus is SQ at the moment.
BTW, I am happy to read your review, it matches my experience...it could be something about Naim...LOL!

I had read it, but I thought that was in normal GUI mode and just referred to accessing the Qobuz app not to actual playback, because I had playback from the Qobuz-app once. I didn't try any of the radio stations though.

I hope it is something that Gordon can have influence on, also when run in Core mode.

think gordon killed off these services for the time begin to concentrate on sq
He also removed the Volume Control functionality for the same reason. I want it back!

You shouldn't want to have it back.

Volume control within the digital domain is very, very, very bad for sound quality. It will cost you a number of bits in bit-depth.
Do it in the analogue domain.

Repent oh ye sinner.

Agree with Aleg, every digital volume that I used it was compromised with sound quality. I'm for no-digital volume! ;-)

Nigel, you are right, I use the 2.73 448 with 23220 clock settings, and that is with what I compared LMS.
I will try again tonight to reinstal the new version(s), hoping that I did something wrong and that is why I heard that difference between MQn and LMS.

tested v2

is very good but still not as crisp and clear as 2.73, (cymbals, tightness of bass etc, realness)
maybe some things better

That's still some timing effect on high frequency and low level signals IMHO. Fast transients and low level decays are not yet optimally rendered.
Maybe there is some influence possible via the advanced/performance settings for the underlying RAm for database and via the server priority. There is after all also a database running alongside the software player.

You should also try the 2012R2 in Core mode, that will improve it somewhat.
I'm curious to know how you think it sounds with Core + AudioPhils Optimiser.

i did new r2 on a usb3, phils optimiser, c++ update still in std gui
just for direct comparison between the MQn's ks vs wasapi
ill change it to core but i dont think that will do it

u using -a 2000:2000 still?

It should be -b 2000:2000, I would say so.
