tested 2.97.2 for a few days... its piano is perfection... good enough

2.90.7 and 2.90.9 = drum = rock n roll!

trying to find a version that can play musical notes with long duration e.g. trumpet, violin
e.g. like theme song of terminator 1984...

2.71 v2 seems good
something about sse4... note accuracy/tempo is only ok..
but when note is long long long, most software with sse4 can play it with ease

actually, Adobe Flash plays it really well... just less rich less shinny than 2.71 v2

iGPU = performance plan, 2.93 has ear whisper effect!
iGPU = balance plan, effect is gone...

performance plan = harden the sound. but is it correctly? seems it has mixture effect
balance plan = easy vibration...

2.97.6 sounds much better with balance plan...
back to balance plan.... safe choice

i use performance plan with some its settings (Intel Graphics Power Plan: Maximum battery life)
don't know about this tweak. v2.97.6 a bit terrible with wifi, need turn off.

tested with speakers, bass have very good dinamic range, full !!
Pink Floyd/The Dark Side Of The Moon bass like as thunder in sky, enough heavy bass effect as needed for this album. and air ~ full, can hear all instruments. only need more vibration for this SQ level. think too clean sound easy becomes a bit hard. will recompile in morning, usually sound more soft/liquid.

2.96.4 160 v2 is sharper
2.97.6 is more mellow than norm?

igpu power plan very difficult tweak for me...
performance = harder, but correct?
saving = slightly harder, but correct?
balance = doesn't harden but.. micro quality ok?

all other tweaks are pretty much done... cannot do better easily

2.97.6 seems good again... the sound keep changing!
not stable!! keep making bad calls here... hehe

2.97.2 is stable here... PC good mood bad mood makes good sound

lekt, try Intel RST 13.2.0.1016 driver if you use sata... choose series 9 driver... better SQ i think
big step up... micro quality better.. all things better

2.97.2 is sweet sweet sweet tune... treble dynamic good improvement
2.90.9 vibrates better better

2.97.6 treble tune dynamic is catching up to that of s4

OK, will learn, hard disk is very important, current technologue not good for reading big file. as you see, sometime mp3, aac/youtube have good sound coz they use small file size.

2.90x style is obvious. bass + fast + sharp + high energy + dynamic

2.97.6x style needs something... more bass focus? more energy/weight?

micro difference. now my OS very good, all versions become much better, difficult detect good/bad things.
seems mb have best balance.

v2.97.6xx used xor operator, sound good rises up, live. but stage size is large.
v2.97.7xx replaced all xor 1 with or 1 in case number is multiple of 2. more vibration but stage size lesser, think more correct. only sound rises up lesser than.
prefer mb, good vocal.

everyday bad thing is different...
i have little trick to detect bad thing.
i turn on/off my LAN
my LAN makes bad things much worse... and then i know what is bad for today!
