Hardly worthwhile putting a lid on it! There'll be a queue with hot soldering irons waiting to tweak it!

was just thinking earlier
that something must have gone really wrong in life when you start perving over pcb

must be a great day for deliveries, the output transformers arrived
i put in the 2:1 ones and so far i wouldn't be surprised if some form of output transformer in the amp is popular
initially lower noise, clarity and dynamics is whats obvious
as i type that, i realise that sounds ridiculous, coz thats some of the best attributes of the amp right?
well apparently theres more in it somehow.....

maybe a volume control output transformer is the way to go and lose the trim pot

cant really envisage much to tweak on finished amps, its a relatively simple design with an excellent power supply
the lids might stay on longer than we think!

For some people it's going to be difficult to prevent the saliva dripping onto the pcb while soldering them

Great news on the effect of the transformers - amazing, really but then Abraxalito's (Richard) advice is always sound!

For Digital Audio playback that delivers WHERE the performers are on stage but more importantly WHY they are there.
