Maybe I just need a bit of light relief today but I was falling around laughing. I had to be carted off to hospital when he went for 18 words after the lady had picked 20. I am worried that Ivor is able to spend time sourcing this stuff and how he goes about it!
BTW I wouldnt have know any of the answers either but the last one was comical. Our dog would have made a more educated guess

It was a sadder geek than me wot sourced it. I think he heard it live and, after he changed his pants, copied the segment from the RTE Player. It couldn't happen to a more smug patronising presenter.

Found thus by accident the other day! I recorded it years ago on video but could I find it to transfer to DVD? Here it is at last! One of his finest despite the pesky keyboard player ;) Full broadcast....Many thanks to Fran for showing us how :)

One of my favourite Beach Boys songs is the gloriously nostalgic Disney Girls and I stumbled upon this very beautiful solo version by Bruce Johnston tonight. So very special.
A gorgeous performance by Richard and Linda Thompson of A Heart Needs A Home. Such emotional directness and honesty is rare. Not a hint of sentimentality, this is rich in life's hard-earned truths.
And some of the best Waits covers I've ever heard. St. Vincent's wonderful re-workings of Big Black Mariah and Tango Till They're Sore. Ms. Clarke might just be the most interesting artist out there at the moment.
One of Tom Waits' finest moments is the Big Time concert film which, incredibly, has never been released on DVD. Thankfully, some enterprising soul has uploaded the whole thing to YouTube.
