Trying in Zuma is not that easy, since is attached to this other case!
I will leave that for the last try.

In a bit I will try to connect only the +5v

Actually I just remembered why I can't try the card only because I need regen to get the +5v into sonicweld!

I tried to ad the ground to the usb card. Like in the beginning....just to try and it was NO!

Disconnected the ground from Teradak to sonicweld and still NO.
I added again the extra ground to the usb card from batteries and still NO.
I tried all the ground combinations that came to my mind, but nothing.
Tried different pci slot for the card.....NO.

I don't think that the card is faulty. When I turn on the PC, my DAC screen lighten up for a couple of seconds, witch means that is still something going thru!

I finally was able to play with all the chain attached, but not every time!

By every time I mean after the shotdown.

Pearse, I thought that shorter usb cable for Regen was only untill it started to work for the first time?!
I didnt got one with my Regen! I have to contact the supplier! LOL...

EDIT:
Who's crazy here?!!
I have all the same as I had in the begining...all the grounds!
I just turned on/off 5 times and now works every time!!!
I hope that tomorrow I will nor be back to square one again!!

What about all the 3m crap in there?? A mere touch on that stuff and you will need to merrily reboot your pc.

Example in my case the streacom case lid has two sheets stuck to the underside. If I put the lid on the case correctly no boot up possible. Remove and hey presto working pc

I even tap on the clock when pc working, also on the usb card, everyyhing is rock solid, no reactions!
Now I have to solder the wire between the clock and batery! :(

Nigel, since the mobo clock is working either way, with ground attached to the batery or mobo ground, will there be any sonic diference between the two?
Or, which one would you choose?

I dont know if u will hear a difference but logically thinking the gnd point at the battery would be lowest noise board ground will have some noise on it

They are like wild horses these tricked audio PC's Adam but once you figure out the sequence or quirks to get it going and you get a few boots on it then it will play ball......that is until you go tweaking something else then it will just throw a fit again.

I know the above is no help but do persist as when you do get it going you will soon forget all the pain.
