hmm.. i don't have earache issue with 2.18... i don't think lekt player is the problem.

the earaches should be from else where. like driver, OS, metro, bios.

right, my OS have'nt stabilization. 2.18xx have more sharpness, more brightness, but all things are not compressed, open/free sound, good stereo effect. need make it more mellow but keep all its good things.
v2.19 bass a bit compressed.

-hard treble edges are melted into vibration!
-weight less than norm.

still prefer 2.18. better balance. more emotion.

v2.18 a bit more digital than others, in my case need take care about Windows, close all other programs.
v2.20 perfect sounds on my laptop, i don't need do anything for Windows, let all programs running. vibration, bass have good depth and multi-layer, power. best emotion from all lekt's versions.
maybe vibration creates more musical nuances for me than for you. think you're now in rock and metal, that take care more about other things, ha ha... im happy with v2.20, JC. thx.

2.20 sounds very good here on dedicated audio PC. Good layering and nuances to the vibrations.

Havent compared to 2.18 yet.

you read my mind! lekt player has transformed me in love with rock and metal now. more drums the better. faster drums the better. lekt player is king of rock. no other player has drums like that!

2.20 has less air less weight than 2.18. not good for vocal.
but the vibration is huge! 2.20 is usable in a lot of music.

people keep using the word "nuances", what the hell is it? i don't understand it neither in my native language or in english lol.

actually i made judgement too early! 2.2 has great emotion. i think i just miss the air of 2.18.

In this context, this person used nuances to describe the wealth of micro-details that sit over the fundamental vibrations, not that I have a clue what I'm blabbing about. LOL
