For some reason that cover reminds me of one of the Aliens DVD covers.

That's an interesting choice Fergus. I have none of her stuff at all though I was tempted one time to go for the 5 Lp box set of one of her live concerts back when I did have plenty of money :) You know she was married to Lou Reed don't you? Must lend you the Metal Machine opus he brought out one time ;)

This was included in one of the collections that I bought in order to grow my vinyl collection quickly and was not a concious buying choice Dermot. I knew nothing about her until I Googled her the other night and I did not know that she was married to Lou Reed; but somehow that does not surprise me. Reference was made in my research to that 5 LP box set that you mentioned.
She was only married to Lou Reed for six years - 2008 to 2013. 2013 being the year he died....
The 5 Lp box set is a live set.

While the album mightn't be on a par with his early '90's releases,it's great to hear new music from Plastikman.
I think Dermot this was designed to fit in with the live shows he has been playing recently and to let people stream the album a month before the physical release shows that Richie Hawtin hasn't just released this to make a few bob. This album was recorded live from the Guggenheim Museum in NYC november 2013.
I bought a Flac release on bleep which sounds really good,it's released on double vinyl in July,so if you like Plastikmans other releases this will fit in nicely with them.
