Well that happened quicker than I thought! I literally just sold an old Associates CD via Amazon - therefore releasing the funds ;-)
No hanging around there!!!

Not very hard at all; I took an instant liking to him so I am pretty sure you will too. I am certainly aware that Sean is a fan...

what's this for Fergus, Nielsen or Martinu?

I know Nielsen Symphs 5&6 are a little tricky... I think I got the hang of 5 but 6 still remains a bit of a mystery..

are Martinu's latter symphonies also rather tricky?

I honestly found Martinu's later works to be a bit difficult Jared.

In relation to Nielsen 6, if I ever crack that one I will retire from listening I think!!! I just never got it at all!!!

well, I like Dvorak, Smetana, Suk & Janacek, so I'm guessing its a more 20th Century version of the same language... and for £10 for 6 Symphs, its difficult to know how you can go wrong. I have been concerned for a while that in my enthusiasm for Renaissance & Baroque, I've been neglecting anything remotely 20th Century... which needs to be remedied, somehow. The only 'recent' stuff I've listened to in the last year has been Benjamin Britten!

Yes, I also find that can happen to me Jared and I have to nudge myself out of my comfort zone every now and then!
