v2.90.9 have normal stage size, most correct. width/heigh/depth just enough. quantity OK.
v2.90.12 some quality better, but sizes, texture seems not correct.
v2.90.10 is interesting version, mini size but can good reproduce slightly sound.
i think 2.90.9 > others. like its bass, pretty.

notice something interesting about xa reclock

if i reclock to 44100+16bits -> 2.90.9 gives direct+real sound.
if i reclock to 44100+32bits -> 2.90.9 loses the direct sound.

for 2.4.3 352, it doesn't matter. always direct.

reclock 16bit->always real
reclock 32bit->hifi mellow

don't understand.

anyway, maybe it's time to try 320, 352, 448 buffers?!?!

2.90.9 is already best of 256/512 buffer size.

it is such a shame the source code of 2.4.3 is lost....

it gives highest reward from correct tweak.

when jitter is high, drum weight is 101%-105%.
when jitter is low, drum weight is 100% correct.

high jitter = raw
low jitter = refined

very very simple jitter response.

energy level is constant. decay is constant. treble/bass balance is stable. can listen in bad/good PC.

i think stage size of v2.90.9 more correct, not sure. try it.

i think 2.90.9 > 2.90.13
2.90.13 is cleaner but harder. stage is close to ear. maybe fat?

i think need soft + clean.

i am starting to think... 2.90.7 -> 2.90.9 are hard.... more hard than other software.

2.90.4 is soft. more natural. free sound. not hard.
2.90.4 maybe 1% more soft than norm. maye not hehe

need some small tuning.

2.40.1 has very good guitar. true/real pressure. like jelly.

i think when sound is more clarity, more correct, it seems be more raw (but with micro vibration), like as more hard, says that, but it's true hard. need more learn, difficult to concluse now, maybe i'm wrong.

yes. everyday weight is different.
i think 2.4.3 has 100% drum correct weight in a good day.
i think 2.90.x has 97-99% drum weight. typical weight of CD players
2.90.15 weight = 97%.

xa asio4all > xa waveout
on my 2012, xa asio4all is harder > xa waveout
on win7, xa asio4all is perfect in soft/hard. but waveout seems more soft.

i think my 2012 is too hard. hehehe... need to fix it.
hard + hard = too hard.
soft + hard = ok hehe

not correct sound usualy:
clean <-> hard/dry
dirty <-> soft/wet

need soft/wet but in cleaness, otherwise sound will be dirty, not detailed.

feel v2.90.15 is clean but dry, little. here's not enough vibration (and micro vibration) in its cleaness. so need keep its clean/hard/dry and improve vibration/micro vibration. so then sound will be more soft/wet.
reason: not good balancing as v2.4.3.
will try as i think. not easy, hehe...
