2.90.9 sounds like a finished product. quantity + quality. gives me the feeling of stable sound.

2.90.9 seems perfectly matching my OS + bios. backup!! cannot lose this sound!!

actually the next best sound seems to be mqn2.82 and rax no zi.... maybe mqn3.56... all piano bests
and 3rd place comes xa ... my OS is tuned by xa... hahaha need win7

yes, all things seems good. only why sad/sad/sad... as you mentioned. i see this, think v2.90.9 little/bit "liquid", maybe make more hard a bit?, musical notes scale will be higher a bit as v2.79.2, so then can get more emotion.

not sure... i have dirty power. sometimes hard. sometimes soft.
when my PC is hard, s4 seems better.
when my PC is soft, s4 is ok. 1 file model seems better.

try make it harder. see what happens.


2.90.9 makes good sad emotion!
2.79.2 makes always makes high energy happy emotion. never felt sad


for reference of hardness, 3.4.2 more hard > 2.90.9

final tuning is very difficult...

my ram voltage is at 1.49v
-0.005 makes big difference
+0.005 makes big difference
difference is hard/soft/lumpy/clean/dirty/tune/thin/rich

i don't know which is correct. will take me long a time... dirty power makes things difficult.

correct voltages > (clockrate+sata cable+reclock)*5

micro-tuning voltages... -0.05v in iGPU... micro improves. when my setup is in good mood, maybe only 0.5% nervous. 1% intense. 1% dry.

now...
testing 2.90 MOD... near perfect micro. sounds just right. not too rich. not too thin. just right.
not too soft. not too hard. just right.
good quantity also not fake shinny.
(because it is MOD, not direct sound like 2.90.9)

yes... you right... comparing to 2.90MOD, need more hard for 2.90.9.

i think we need:
(2.90.9+2.90.11)/2

2.90.9 seems only 0.5% more mellow than norm. ok. can listen all day.
2.90.11. sharp. more clean. but i can detect hard treble. earaches. like a sharp knife.
(maybe win8/2012 is hard. i never heard hard treble with pkshan win7)

2.90.10
seems little bit 0.1-0.5% nervous? yes i like this one a lot. very good musicality. good energy. some micro more refined > 2.90.9.
seems weight is less. but flow is better. some trade-off.

difference sound texture, non-compressed. some elements more true. but i suspect its texture, interesting, try test it.

not obvious. seems i prefer 2.90.9

2.90.9 dynamic range feels like vinyl. seems high density. the sound is calm.
2.90.12 feels different. cleaner. more like CD.

recently went to a KEF exhibition. all very hifi and KEF sounding.. but cannot enjoy the music. haha... maybe because they are playing music from mac book.

2.90.10 mellower/sweeter. focus on flow.
2.90.9 real/direct. good balance between weight and flow.
2 CD players.
prefer 2.90.9.

actually, 2.90.9 MOD makes sound sweet/mellow with water.

but 2.90.9 is still the best!
