One of the best electronic albums of the last year...

Right, that's it, next time I'm in Tower I'm getting that confounded album :) Did I say that before?

Dermot,
They have another 5track ep called where u,very good.
Me I only bought a flac download at the time when the cd was still available,
Silly me!! It's going for £150-£180 and the vinyl seem to be going for the same.

Right John, what's your opinion on both albums? Have BOC found their feet again? As for the Cloak, is it as doomy sounding as it looks ;)

Have BOC found their feet? Well Dermot,it a lot better than some of their previous releases but i suppose after six years i was expecting a bit more or maybe
they just don't do it for me anymore,if you know what i mean.Still some great familiar sounds.
As for The Haxan Cloak,i'd recommend that album in a heartbeat. It's a dark and very very bleak world where this album brings you but truly gripping
and intense. An album i'll be going back to again and again. One for late at night and it will put the sh!ts up anyone..

Nice summing up :) I had a listen to samples of the Cloak's new one recently and my first thought was, I've enough of this stuff to keep me going to the grave :) So.......seeing that you getting into this I would heartily recommend Indignant Senility's 'Consecration of the Whipstain' :) Or even Plays Wagner Vol. 1 and 2. Fabulous stuff...

Thanks Dermot,
I’m in work so i’ll have to wait till later to have a listen but read a quick review
on boomkat and the reviewer actually mentioned Tri angle records while reviewing
this, which is the label of The Haxan cloak,so your bang on the button again..
