The 2010 version. Great zing and zest off this one! Goes lovely with a simple pasta w. cream sauce etc.

Try it with a Thai curry sometime... "amazeballs" as teenage girls are wont to say.

Last nights fun... A slightly "high end" red Burgundy I've started stocking.
I said to myself "sur' I'll just a glass or two... " As it happens I only used one glass but topped it up a lot.
Mine was the 2008 at a mere €38.95, pic on the right is the actual now-deceased bottle. RIP.

I recommend this one! It has real umpf and would be perfect with some meaty dish. Great value at 13 euro from our own Ivor at the Wine Buff.

So would it be safe to say you were using a shot glass?

from my own limited stock but honestly, hand on heart, this is what red wine should taste like... I had the Johanna 2002 - the 2001 is what got me into the wine business! ( ask member William Barrett for details of that tale!)
It's a 2002!

from the Bordeaux producer, Régis Moro, mentioned above... "Pelan" is the Cuvee of our best selling wine and comes from 100 year old vines (as does Johanna above). It being a 2001 it has age in every aspect. An absolutely superb claret. It's the beast on the left in the pic (duh)

Spanish Red.... previously retailed at 55 euro... now down to 23 euro...
Probably the best tasting red I have ever had at this price point... Highly Recommended
