My bad!!! :)
I didn't see clearly that the "dot" moved on my voltmeter....it was 0.62v with the ground from mobo.
My Teradak gets started by PC and it's no way to fire up otherwise(maybe is even better). The 5v I had from another PS.
I will have to connect my Zuma, to see if Teradak is OK!

Does anyone tried to replace the mobo clock with OCXO clock (beside the PPA mod)?
Will that be a different "procedure"?

So, I will be able just to buy OCXO clock and replace it instead the TCXO or the original clock?!
If yes, than why is the PPA OCXO that complicated and that more expensive?!

Thanks to Nigel willingness and good hart to perform the castration on my new mobo, I'm almost back into business!
"Right of the box" mobo booted and PC worked perfectly, either with ground taken from the battery or from mobo.
PC worked, but no sound! Sonicweld could not be seen......"device not connected"!
I tried from the usb card and from mobo port......nothing!
Reconnected the PPA clock....no difference!
To shorten the story:
-Sonicweld to mobo usb port (no Regen)......finally music!
-Sonicweld to usb card (no Regen)........no music
-Sonicweld to Regen and usb port........music SOMETIMES!!
-Sonicweld - Regen - USB Card........no music
All of those with the Nigels clock.
In total 3 clocks 3.3v batery powered (Regen, usb card & mobo clock). The 5v for Sonicweld I have from Teredak.
Any thoughts are much appreciated!
Adam

Jeeezzz your not having much luck
So the mobo seems ok and the sonicweld is ok
Id direct my efforts into checking the usb card and regen
Use the laptop to check the regen with sonicweld
Take out usb card lay it flat clock facing up and add 3.3and gnd check for 1.6v on clock output
If both seems to be working maybe try them in your old zuma
Do you still have that additional ground going in at regen?
Was it a 3.3 or 5v short that killed your last mobo?

For:
-Sonicweld to Regen and usb port........music SOMETIMES!!
Try shorter USB cable from PC to Regen, as it is troublesome with some longer cables.

And Regen is OK, since sometimes works. Pearse might me right about a shorter usb cable, but I don't have one at the moment and this way, with previous mobo, worked without any problem anytime!
Now, the only thing that never worked was the usb card!
Yes, I still have that additional ground with my 5v line coming from Teradak. That is my next step to try without it.
I short the place where PPA clock was connected for 5v into mobo, so I assume that was only the 5v affected?!
Are those the places in the usb card where I need to check for the 1.6v?
