An absolutely wonderful album of Cohen arrangements.
all recorded in the one day.
Famous Blue Raincoat
Hey That's No Way To Say Goodbye
Tower of Song
Take This Waltz
Suzanne
You Know Who I Am
A Thousand Kisses Deep
Story Of Isaac
Dance Me To The End Of Love</strong>
From the truly spine tingling "Anthem" to the angry vitriol of "Story of Isaac" this is a gem of an album. Christine Tobin has such a wonderful voice and this is such an excellent sounding album.
With perhaps the exception of "Take this Waltz" each interpretation brings an exciting new emphasis to these well known songs.
