By the way John, how are you getting on with the Floyd reissues?

Well done Cybot,
I knew the Iron Maiden would be hard, but I thought there were a few metal heads around for that one.
So it's back to the drawing board for me...

Thanks John. You mustn't have seen my query about the Floyd reissues; how are you getting on with them and which one(s) would you wholeheartedly recommend?

Hi Cybot,
I missed that one.
I'm enjoying the Floyd remasters overall.James Guthrie has done a great job on cleaning up the recordings, without messing around with the mix t
much.Roger water bass lines have a lot more weight and the sound quality of Dave Gilmour's guitar at times is simply stunning.
The soundstage and seperation is also excellent especially on meddle, wish you were here, animals.More is cleaned up ok compared to the original, but that wouldn't
be to hard as i think it was one of their weaker captured recordings anyway.
Wish you were here is the one that stands out at the moment...Brilliantly remastered and a massive soundstage.
I can't believe how dark Animals sounds and way more dynamic then I can remember.
Overall I think it's worth investing in a few of your favourites.
