I hope the one from rage is in good nick (no pun intended) they trend to sell garbage for high prices and have a no refunds policy. I'll only go back there to burn the place down.

Didn't know that Ivor! It was my first purchase from them. Luckily the vinyl plays absolutely fine. Still I didn't get any kind of vibe from the place at all so it'll more than likely be my last visit :) Thanks for the warning....

I'm glad it was in good condition, it's pot luck in there.
It's owned by an american guy called Nick. He took over Macs Records in the Georges Arcade and then opened Rage. I had a few dealings with him in Macs and he came up short every time. I bought a few LPs in Rage at about €20 each so I assumed mint, and they looked it too, but they played like old 78s. No refund. An assistant showed me how they clean LPs and it's shocking. A lint free cloth and what looked like Mr Sheen. He's not to be encouraged.

Definitely not to be encouraged! I remember one record shop off Grafton St. used to clean records with lighter fluid! They were down in a basement and had a fantastic selection of hard to get records. But once I saw what they were doing to the records I said goodnight boys :)

Called into my local shop this evening on my way home from work. Picked up all of these on vinyl (pre-loved). Pretty much mint for half price.
Broke but happy :-)
Couldn't rescue everything but will try later this week if possible.

Nice selection Conor, picked up a few more here yesterday myself. €10 on average which is good considering they are more or less mint. One was actually still sealed up from new!
Great looking shop too.

This triple monster arrived today. Have waited nearly nine years for this more widely available MOV edition. Happy days :)
