2.81.5 seems to have small intense.

it has same intense like having really really small buffer size for foobar.

probably latency issue. the music seems fine.

maybe make a 512 version?

actually, 2.81.4 maybe 0.01% intense. but again, it will probably go away when OS latency is better.
let see what else i can disable in R2 hehe

2.81x is truly latency sensitive hehe.

i just killed "fileandstorageservices" which did nothing anyway.
now pops is 1/1000 of yesterday

at this rate of SQ increase, i guess in 4 to 5 more correct tweaks. 2.81x will be in god mode

i open 50 chromes, 50 firefox...
2.81x doesn't pop.

but if i turn on microsoft services, like firewall, remote craps, etc
2.81x pops.

every little thing of microsoft affects sound.

uploaded v2.81.4 512 , biger bufer size maybe works without pops in your case. didn't change anything in code, only some parameters and load buffer function.

try it. in my case seems size 256 better.

yes. R2 fresh install has excellent balance. almost strain-free.

e.g. enable "show file extension" in windows explorer.
balance immediately broken lol.
e.g. install intel sata driver,
balance also broken.

as soon as i do change things, i need to go all the way. very annoying.
about 50 tweaks later, OS is balance again with better resolution.

2.81.4 512 seems great.
all good things kept.
no pops. only very small earaches.

actually sound is richer.
