Hoorah we will have one to examine. Nigel get the heat gun ready.
While joking about this I see that there could be huge potential. At some point I think it worthwhile contacting the uk agent and see can he send over a demo model to us. In your case Seb surely at this stage your accounts are all locked down?

Well there shouldn't be if the grounding is done right.
Har-de-har.

I guess for most of us there could be cheaper tweaks to be done first

Just a bump for this stuff. Noticed a post on wigwam the pricing has changed on this stuff. The 500w version is being phased out
and is available for a ground breaking £199. The 1500 now seems to come with Schuko socket but is priced at £499. That might be down on original charges but can't remember. No change in the pricing for the Entreq Tellus that will have to remain on the wishlist

Think that's a reduction in price, Tony. I'm pretty sure it was up as high as 649 at one stage. I thought if I held on long enough I'd sell mine at a profit!

Was never really convinced my 1500unit made any worthwhile improvements to be honest but then again my input voltage was always reported as being a steady 235v or thereabouts so I was good to begin with.
I'm selling mine if anyone's interested.

This my not be the under the right title but here we also started the discussion about earthing(grounding).
Today I finally did one experiment what I planed to do a long time ago.
I'm using pure 18 gauge silver/teflon wire for connection between my Tellus+separate ground and to the chassis of each of my audio components.
Today I took one same silver wire and wrapped cotton strap around it and another tiny layer of Teflon tape.
The difference was
way bigger between the two wires than not having wire at all!!!
What does this tell?!
Ground wire picking up noise?

A new thread Adam I think for grounding thoughts! You are pushing an open door with plenty of the clan here,
Really at this point you need to help the team and drill a nice hole in that Entreq box and get that muck inside checked out.
You can then put the stuff back in and reseal with some mastic

No need for drilling.
There are pictures from the link you posted with the inside of the box and the compound found inside.
The real question is
what exactly is that compound and that can't be determined by eye!

This very interesting, wonder what difference shielding would make?
