^^ that is true, although I do have to be careful about what I play, and it isn't often that I can sit and listen to a full CD... I am usually walking in and out, with a toilet brush or a screwdriver...

I was going to get a copy of the Artemis Beethoven Quarete cycle, that was before Amazon trebled the price, I am fed up with rip off merchants so I decided to get a copy of the Gewandhaus cycle instead. I really like their Mendelssohn complete string cycle so I decided to try their Beethoven recordings, a big leap of faith, I know. The set is beautifully presented, another good reason to ignore downloads in favour of the physical product.
