Hi JC,
there are some temporary files that are created when using MQnLoad. I don't want them in MQn directory. %LocalAppData% is always available and write access is granted here.
But of course it's possible to have MQn folder portable e.g. on a stick. If you call mqnload the first time on another PC, you only have to accept the settings in options dialog after first double click and you're done. I think that tidy and flexible.

Another little piece of feedback:

2.71 Win 8.1-R2 raw-background is just lovely.
Not done much comparison yet, but it beats the raw other hands down.

See, I be nice in my comments as well :-()

Didn't you say earlier that you didn't like it? I need to go back to listen to it again. I didn't like it in first pass, but you made me wonder now.

think it was raw other that made aleg's ears bleed :))
but thats ok I didnt think much of it either:()

Unfortunately my amp is out of commission for a few days so I can't test. But I bet it will be great for audio playback.
I've just installed AMD Ramdisk and so far results are very promising. It's AMD software that is usable on AMD and Intel platforms. It creates a ram drive for you to place files. First 4Gb are free. I have just placed some audio files to compare. There is a definite audible change in presentation and I believe for the better - music is smoother, more digititis is removed. I think there is potential here with MQN.
