Read about that Adam alright see thread on John Kennys favourite forum! http://www.whatsbestforum.com/showthrea ... -grounding

For a slightly different approach or view on these products see
http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.ph ... ght=entreq

Serious note I think we all have some acceptance/belief/understanding that grounding works in mysterious ways and it would seem anything to do with power should not be discounted. Pity is this stuff costs so much and would seem to obviously have the 5-600% mark up that goes with the territory.

If I understand correctly Adam you have run a ground cable from the tellus to your earth rod set up and this has given even further improvement. I think you need to open up the box and post a few photos so we can ascertain what magic is in there. BTW is it a cigar or wine box and is the lid nailed on?

Ok just get a heat gun and go gently! as only you can. Never seen a copper ingot like that before I could just imagine what would happen if they were installed in any properties. They would need to be hidden in concrete.

Maybe it is just you Adam but everything in Canada seems to be like american cars. That copper bar contains enough to wire an estate in Ireland!

As an example of strange happenings I plugged in a usb cable from a hdd into my laptop and get a click/interference inmy speakers! Have ground mains and also an earth spike in the back garden installed when the house was rewired.

The the wire was soldered to the copper rods.

Love the good advice Adam re timing on installation.Great photo's. Will have to give something like that a go at some point. That is silver plated wire going to the outside ground?

The wire is gauge #1(8mm) copper wire (NOT silver plated).......ONE PIECE, connecting all the 3 posts in triangle and the cooper bar on the other side .
I don't know if this is the best way to do (if there is a such thing), but it works in my case. Not in the way I expected (to be better than Tellus), but it gives a big improvement with Tellus.

cant deny your dedication

that silver coated wire and copper bar (how long?) cant be cheap,

did you ever come across any explanation why silver wire seems to be the wire of choice for many?
bit fond of it myself

The outside ground wire is just copper. Cooper bar is 12"x1"x1", the outside posts are 10 feet long and 3/4" tick.

The wire used from the chassis to Tellus makes BIG difference.
First I had 16 gauge silver coated stranded wire in Teflon jacket, then I changed to 16 gauge pure silver solid wire in Teflon jacket, the difference was very noticeable. I have one Entreq Eartha Silver cable same 16 gauge, but it sounds way better that my pure silver wire!!! No idea why.....maybe because of the extra cotton jacket on top of teflon?! Any thoughts?

I am eying Entreq ground boxes for quite some time. I will definitely try one when my wife does not look ;) My friend swears by them.
