Hi guys,
I would like to hear your thoughts, about what would be a good upgrade of my MA Silver 6 speakers?
I have an eyes on MA Silver 8 or the new Silver 300 or 500 maybe.
Also B&W CM 8 or CM 10?
I did audition CM 8, but I wasn't entirely convinced about them, something was missing for me.
Any suggestions/advices would be great.
Budget, maybe €1500-2000 tops.
The amp I'll be using will be DIY Aleph 3 Nelson Pass.
Thanks

I don't know those speakers, but what areas are you looking to improve?

I had a pair of B&W CM7s from 2008-2017, I really loved the sound, but an opportunity came my way to upgrade while I could still get a good price on the CM7s.
I heard a pair of Quadral Chromium Style 8 loudspeakers in Cloney Audio and was impressed enough to have a home trial. They have exactly the same footprint as the CM7 so they slotted in well in my room. I was really impressed with them, enough to buy a pair and have been enjoying them ever since. Price: €1,995!

Looking to improve the mids a touch, l like the MA tonality.
Basically, I'm trying to improve all areas, if it's possible in to my budget.

Have you ever been to Cloney Audio, you should give them a try!
The Quadrals have fast, deep bass, full mids and the ribbon tweeter is a godsend!

I was there ones, briefly. I was left with impression, it's a place for people with deep, deep pockets, but anyway, that doesn't matter. Mait pay them a visit.
Don't know anything about Quadrals, have read a bit about them.

Not always. they have bargains and they often have second hand stuff not on their website.
