It varies Fergus. I am very fond of the Abbado/BPO and the Vänskä Osmo/MO performances so probably the Abbado recording. I am predictable I suppose. Do you have a favourite?

I think that it would be the Bruggen 2 version mentioned above Seán; it is a bit special, like the overall cycle. A maestro looked back and wanted to leave a lasting legacy so a lot of thought went into the cycle. One can sense that.
