Bruggen’s Schubert cycle arrived today and I am looking forward to listening to it (but it is in a queue so it may be a while before I get around to it)....

My first venture into the music of Zemlinsky....

So am I, there a copies of it languishing in a couple of amazon baskets now, I should get it.

Honestly guys, my listening is seriously backed up at the moment and it will be a while before I get to this one.

I feel your pain Fergus... my listening is also seriously backed up at present, and it will be a little while before I get round to this one:

I have obviously heard Menuhin playing, but I have never heard anything conducted by him....???

neither have I... although I believe these recordings are highly regarded, and I am intrigued..

I will be interested to see what you think, so....when you get around to listening to it.

I promised myself that I would buy more from this wonderful series and these two have now arrived....
