I have decided on a speaker change for the next few weeks... down from the attic have come my Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO 1 bookshelf speakers.... and I am impressed with such a small unit... considering I have not used them for over 10 years!!!! A change is as good as a rest as they say!!!
So if you have a set of bookshelf speakers... get them out... disconnect your floorstanders and give it a shot for old times sake!!

ProAc speakers always had a good name Adrian and as you have already said quality sells itself.
I almost bought a pair of those Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO 1 many moons ago but went for a 5.1 home theatre system instead - which gets little or no use!!

do you know Adrian, I was only trawling the web last night to see if I could get parts for my Epos Es11s, which have been sitting in the attic since one got fried....
no joy unfortunately!

I couldn't buy the audioplans; never liked that style of speaker...!!
much like Wilson or the B&W 800s the multiple enclosure look is jarring....
I'm sure they sound great though!

Interesting video clip from Dynaudio.... on how they manufacture their speakers.
