Those TEAC's are 100db Tony. So a dream with the amp in triode out.
But you're right. It's with cans that it really shows its mettle.

I used them on spendor a6's maybe 90db I think so a bit more challenging!
Also it can act as a pre and that worked really well for me but only one output.
