Isopropanol won't damage your records.
Is isopropanol the same as isopropyl alchohol Fran?

Yes.

Just be aware that most of that sold in chemists etc is actually 75% iso with water and fragrance etc. Hard to get the pure stuff.

I have used knosti disco antistat. Have had good results although may try a different liquid formula as it can leave gunge on the vinyl.
I have a reverse osmosis water filter in the kitchen so can use that for rinsing but may lose antistatic properties of knosti liquid.
