tyres could be anywhere between 50 and 100 each so theres prob 3-400 straight away. If it included a timing belt (and if the scenic is getting around 50K-70k, it would need it) then you actually got a good enough deal.

A bit of a shock to tell the truth. Does include four new tyres though. I had a friend of mine who's a mechanic look through the invoice. He said it all seemed reasonable. Just needed loads done I guess. To be fair, it's been a long time since I had it serviced. I wouldn't mind but it still needs one of the strut bearings replaced.
I've found that every car has at least one expensive service during my time of ownership. Really, given all you got done, that's not a bad price at all but it still hurts.

Yeah I think that's probably the case. The mechanic is a good guy - well known in Naas.
