Thanks for the hint but I much prefer a paper copy.

Re: Stereophile Subscription
Nope - in fairness I use borrowbox almost exclusively for audio books in the car. I'd be interested to know though - I have used it on an iPad and worked well for reading on a plane etc. A proper e-reader would be much neater though.
Do or do not, there is no try
Re: Stereophile Subscription
Just check your e-reader will work with Borrowbox. The only Kindle it works with is Kindle Fire.

Re: Stereophile Subscription
I had a continuous subscription from 1995 up to around 2020. What I cannot understand is why you can't simply renew your subscription online? The last time I looked, this was the case. I recall having to call the magazine's subscription service over the years to re-subscribe. It's a rather unwieldy process, to say the least. On the occasion when I let my subscription lapse, it turned out that the Credit Card I used for the previous renewal had lapsed in so far as the Expiry Date only, so they did not renew it at the magazine's end, which I would have been perfectly happy to do. The only change was in relation to the Expiry Period which was 'bumped up' by two years, on the Card's reissue, as is normal. There was no change whatsoever to the numerical code sequence or the 3 numbers on the rear of the card which is a security code. I can't recall the exact name they use for it. Calling them up was just too much of a chore at the time so I let it lapse. Surely, they could incorporate a secure renewal procedure online for overseas subscribers, within the magazine's website? I have thought about taking out a new subscription to the publication over the last 5 years, but I somehow always forget to do it!
