"SMART" TV's and ads ..

Interesting article. LG is now showing ads on their TV's when in screen saver mode .. I have a Philips SMART TV and have never connected it to the internet. Fortunately it gave up after a while telling me I needed to "complete setup by connecting to wifi" (On a different topic the TV is a pain since it has zero buttons and it you lose the remote you can do nothing with it.) Anyway .. here is the article
