Glad you got it sorted! Were they ever in Capel Street, I seem to remember a hifi repair there!

Great stuff!

Just for other members who might have stuff they want fixed - they are still operating and taking repair queries etc?

We have a shortage of people in Ireland who can do this, so every one of them is valuable!!

Echo Fran's comments. I was watching this thread and initially wondered had some covid related issue hit this business but thankfully they were just offline or sidelined by the lock down. Hope they were not in Dubai for any cosmetic procedures? :)

Perhaps It would be useful to have a sticky of a list of people who do such repairs. I have used Dariuz for upgrading my Naim amps before, not sure if he’s still going but he certainly seemed to know his stuff.

Yes, they still work, just with some crazy covid logistics restrictions, so better to call/email them and arrange the details.
Daniel, the guy who works there, seems very knowledgeable and nice.

Amp is fine, just the vu-meter needle doesn't work, needs replacement part from the factory and Pass says I have to send it to official EU repair shop which is in the Netherlands, and sending 35kg amp there and back would cost much more than the replacement part probably. I will live for now without the vu-meter (which on this amp moves only when the speaker draws more than 30W, so not that important/interesting actually)
