Swaps, duplicates from the recent Zavvii offer

Post by Ivor »

When we availed of the excellent "random" online jazz vinyl many of us said if we got albums we already had or simply didn't want we'd offer them as swaps to the other buyers.
Please feel free to upload your own albums that you would wish to swap following this Zavvii offer.

I ordered twice when i realised the quality of music and pressings - obviously it was a gamble and the second delivery yielded two new and welcome additions. II now have 8 albums for swappage including two copies of Mingus Ah Um as I had a superb Wax Time pressing already, I might keep a Columbia pressing as well in the interests of science and the hope of being called strange (again).

See below. All 100% new and unplayed. All on their original labels and while obviously reissues the quality is all there.
The of Cannonball Adderley Somethin' Else wasn't sealed but appears unplayed.

Mingus - Ah Um
Eric Dolphy - Out to Lunch

Louis & Ella gone a
Dexter Gordon - Go gone a
Getz & Gilberto GONE d
Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else gone a
Duke Ellington - Money Jungle gone a
Sonny Rollings - Alfie gone

I don't know if I have anything to swap that you don't already have. I'm not mad on Out To Lunch and that Art Blakey Drum Suite one, but I'm not sure I'll actually get rid of them. I'd be interested in the Sonny Rollins and the Mingus if you found yourself with nobody to swap with and were tempted to sell for cold hard cash...

Will swap Rollings and Mingus for decent red. That's wine, not a Farrow & Ball autumnal shade.

While I don't doubt there are bargains to be had there on occasion I suspect you're barred from their wine aisle for pointing and laughing.

we shall make arrangements to be distant
