Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
Re: Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
I have one of those ( or very like it - essentially using ESP8266 for control) but sonically its well off the original one here. Brilliant as a standard player though, and will play from usb or SD card.
Do or do not, there is no try

This one's using an ATS2825 - it doesn't mangle the ends of tracks like the more expensive one so I'm preferring it. So far its been the height of stability, nothing fazes it, not even pulling out the card while playing, it mutes gracefully.

It works. Thank you for your effort writing this guide.

I don't really like the remote that came with my sdplayer, my Samsung S6 works much better as remote. I Don't have to aim it towards the ir receiver like I have to do with the original. I tested different remote apps, Irplus works well and it's free. I don't know if anyone finds this useful but here is my configuration for sdplayer, create a new remote in irplus and paste this in:
