Thank you very much for the help jkeny. it is playing music :)
What's your setup there?
Hi nige, my setup is raspberry pi 3 - diynhk 768 isolated xmos - potato -cs4396 dac diy with transformers output...
Sounds good..
Now i connected amanero with potato and the sound is much more clean..
Maybe my isolated xmos has some problem..
I tested the sd card without the potato but i did not liked the sound... not clean..i have to try with potato.
All Isolation adds jitter
Reclocking with flip flops, if done correctly, reduces/eliminates this jitter & should result in better/cleaner sound

On xmos i power the isolated side.
I have salas reflektor, lt3045, lt3042.
Do you have this board?
Maybe the non isolated is better...
I have non isolated version
But difference shouldn't be very big
Clean power to the i2s boards will help quite a bit

Not really - there's a lot of myth around these ndk clocks, it seems. I've seen it reported by Jocko, a well respected RF engineer who has measured these clocks, that there are wide variations in these clocks - Yes the best ones are very good but there's a wide range from best to worst clocks & it's pot luck which you have.

I dont want to get away from the original thread about sd card. Maybe we could open a new thread for this i2s devices and their mods and listening impressions.
I have hfb dac + pro and hfb digi +pro with external supplies. They also output i2s...
The thruth is they all claim bit perfect but they all sound different...
Who knows why!!
