Thanks for that, Tony.  The Kharmas are in a room measuring 4 metres by 4 metres and about the same height to the ceiling.  In the summer months I open the connecting doors to an adjoining room of the same size.  It's a relatively small space for the Kharmas but I've never had any problems with excessive bass output.  The Lavardin has driven them beautifully but I have a hankering to try something new so I have had the Constellation Audio Inspiration Integrated amp inhouse over the past few nights.  Initial impressions are of an intoxicating, seductive and soul-satisfying sound that is immensely gratifying. Very, very impressive.
