I am a little curious if the changes make any difference.
I like the idea of the fewer resistors.
Not sure what difference the new re-clocking scheme would make.
Frustrated by how difficult it will be to power with batteries considering the size of that thing. Looks really difficult to use a different reg for the FPGA - any know if SOEKRIS has installed a linear reg this time?
Sure are a WHOLE LOT more ceramic caps than there were for the original. I wonder: what are those orange dot things?
Would be good if simply using battery packs of 5 volts each into the ready made inputs would sound as good as what I have - I guess I should hope it would sound better.
Or should we be happy with what we have? The 0.01% resistors version is rather expensive ... (not that I think it is overpriced).

sd card player, modded soekris dac, class a lifepo4 amp or gb class a/b amp, diy open baffle speakers based on project audio mundorf trio 10's
