does it matter if I use the lifepo while attaches to charging power? adding a on off switch will be hopeless as i'm sure to forget to use it and drain the batteries

Were all the forgetful same here too
We charge linear into cells continiously
I cant hear any neg effects
But using a switch mode might let a little noise through

Pics tell a thousand words
Might have more ideas to fix reclock then

Need to get a 32.768khz clock to replace that crystal
Its the most benificial one and very important

Also these clocks should have a vcc from lifepo4 cell wired direct to minamise noise
I mounted the clocks vertical to do that

Any chance of shorting the i2s more?

? I replaced the 32.768khz already. Is there another kind I should be using? (as you can tell the digital stuff is way over my head).

Ah, will do on the pin 1 574.

EDIT: okay, I see clock vs. crystal. I thought they meant the same thing...

The green boards are xo adapter boards from Ian's fifo reclock GB on diya
This clock just so happened to be on one of them from another project
And I just dropped it in
Usually solder them on direct now
