I have noticed this also.
I surmise when you are in BIOS all of the settings revert to some kind of default so if you stay in there very long, which you will when doing this, the temps will rise.
AS soon as the new settings are set and you are back in playback mode everything will go back to where it should be.
Made me nervous the first time I noticed this, also. That was many years ago so I guess it is just how the things work. Hard to believe you need all of that computing power for BIOS!
